Macy’s to me are one of those stores that you grow up with. Every mall has one and if I can’t find something somewhere else, chances are Macy’s has it. I’ve spent many hours with my mom at Macy’s to purchase things like 1st day of school clothes to formal wear for a wedding. Also, they have great sales and I am definitely a sale shopper. So, it was only natural for me to do a compilation of long wedding dress alternatives from Macy’s. I scoured their website to good deals on dresses and here’s what I came up for with:

Source: Macy’s: Adrianna Papell Dress: Sleeveless Rosette Evening: $218.00
Source: Macy’s: BCBGMAXAZRIA Dress: Feather Neckline Gown: $548.00
Source: Macy’s: BCBGMAXAZRIA Dress: Sleeveless Silk Ruffled Back: $348.00
Source: Macy’s
Source: Macy’s: BCBGMAXAZRIA Dress: Strapless Tiered Evening Dress: $298.00
Source: Macy’s: Calvin Klein Dress: Long Cross Back Gown: $198.00
Source: Macy’s: Calvin Klein Dress: Sleeveless Gown: $298.00 $199.99 $141.99
Source: Macy’s: R&M Richard Dress: Lace with Bolero: $139.00 $96.99 $67.89
Isn’t the BCBGMAXAZARIA and the Calvin Klein dresses just lovely? Their prices aren’t so bad either.

Sometimes, I wish that the hubs and I just eloped. I think it’s something that comes up when you hit a rut with wedding planning. All you can think about is the things that you’re suppose to get done but can’t seem to get the time to do it. It happens to everyone. No one said wedding planning was easy and to be honest, there’s no short cuts around it unless you happen to have millions of dollars that just happens to be laying around. However, that wasn’t in the cards for us and after you made several deposits that would add up to thousands of dollars that you wouldn’t get back, your mind snaps back into reality pretty quickly and you are back to planning your epic wedding.
I find myself at times looking at dresses and thinking what an awesome dress that would have been to elope in. They are simple, no fuss, and made me wish that I didn’t get the wedding dress that I did. But that’s another post. Let’s get started.
Source: Anthropologie: Dusky Alba Dress: $388.00
Source: Anthropologie: Wind Catcher Dress: $168.00
Source: Anthropologie: Beda Dress: $118.00
Source: Anthropologie: Cherie Dress: $188.00
Source: BCBGMAXAZARIA: Shadow Stripe Halter Dress: $258.00
Source: BCBGMAXAZARIA: Heart Appliqué Dress: $378.00
Source: BCBGMAXAZRIA: Strapless Floral Appliqué Dress: $288.00
Source: Nordstrom: Pisarro Nights Beaded Tiered Shift Dress: $148.00
I think some of these dresses could work as a rehearsal dinner dress as well. I couldn’t help but to post about the BCBGMAXAZARIA‘s Heart Appliqué Dress. I thought it was stunning and creative to have all these heart appliqué sewed onto the dress. Enjoy!
