Bridal Rehab

As you all know, I’m a huge Kate Spade fan. I love her purses, shoes, accessories, cardigans, etc. You name it, I pretty much love it. The other day, I received an email announcing her wedding dress collection and I just about went ape. I immediately clicked on the link and found myself in love with all the dresses. The awesome part of them all is that they are all short wedding dresses! As you already know and saw, I love short wedding dresses and secretly wish that I could have worn one for my wedding. Not to digress further, I present to you some of my favorite dresses from Kate Spade’s Wedding Dress Collection.

My favorite has to be the last dress, Naomi. I’m a sucker for lace and I love how fun it is. It has a 60s/70s feel to it that reminds me of my mother’s bridesmaid’s dresses.  However, all of them are pretty fabulous. I love the pairing of the dresses with the brightly colored tights. It’s something I probably wouldn’t do, but I do love the way they work with the dresses. Kate Spade is definitely not afraid of color, which is one of the things that I love about her creations.

I could also see these dresses as a possible elopement dress or even used as a rehearsal or reception dress. So, I wouldn’t just think of them as just a wedding dress, but possibly a multi-functional dress that could be worn for a myriad of reasons for your wedding. Or not. Up to you. Just trying to help you find a way to rationalize one of those dresses into your closet.
