This tuesday shoesday is for your man. What happens when a top textile and clothing design company gets together with a well-known shoe company? Pure magic, that’s what.

We all know that one of the most popular things to do now for weddings is for your man to wear  Converse‘s Chuck Taylors. I love the casual look Chuck Taylors brings to a nice suit. The hubs didn’t wear Chuck Taylors at our wedding because they were not his thing (he wore these instead). However, if he was into it, I would have probably made him wear these.

Marimekko is a finnish company that comes up with gorgeous textile/fabric clothing designs. Their designs go from simple to funky and is super colorful. Case in point, the backdrop of this DIY photo booth.

Like anything awesome and simply gorgeous, Marimekko fabric can be a bit pricey. However, oh so worth it. Look at that backdrop. Isn’t that fantastic? Also, look what the groom is rocking. Yeap, Chuck Taylors. This collaboration was meant to be.

Not to digress any further, here are the shoes that Marimekko and Converse had made:

Your man prefers the Hi-tops better? Well, they have made those too.

As you can see the fabric prints they chose for the shoes are funky and fun. My favorite has to be Jack Purcell Helen Marimekko shoes. If your man is fashion forward and isn’t afraid of a little color or funky designs, these are probably right up his alley. I can’t wait to find pictures of a groom rocking the bejeezus out of these shoes at a wedding. So, let’s make that happen, mkay?

What do you think of the shoes? Yay or nay?
