Happy belated new year! I know I’m several weeks late but it’s better than never, no? I would also like to extend some apologies for my radio silence for the last couple of weeks. Entering the new year was an adventure and being that it was our first time in two years that we have spent Christmas/New Years with our families/friends, we dedicate a lot of time renewing those bonds. It was a whirlwind but very awesome to physically see people and not through a web cam.

Another thing that caused the extension of the radio silence was that the hubs and I had gotten a puppy! We went to the Pleasanton Farmer’s Market on the mission to get vegetables but instead we came home with this cutie:

Penny (named after the character in the Big Bang Theory) has been a handful but a good handful. She’s smart as a whip and continues to surprise us everyday. We’re so happy to have her be apart of our family! Just a warning to all of my tweeps, you will probably see an excessive amount of pictures of her on my feed from now on.
