DIY Food: Epicurious.com
Posted on: May 14, 2010
I’m a major foodie and I love to cook. So, naturally, you can find me going through recipes to try out on Epicurious.com every week. While oohing and ahhing over the different harder dishes that I know I can’t possibly do but aspire to, I found a section for all you foodies thinking of DIYing your wedding reception or engagement party or bridal shower.
I know, I know, I’m late to jump on the bandwagon and I’m sure you guys already pretty much knew this. But if you didn’t, then I would click here to go there now.
In this wedding section, they list all sorts of menus that guide you from engagement parties to bridal showers to reception main courses. They even coach you on arranging centerpieces and some edible favors that you can make. They even have a section on signature cocktails. This is something I wish I had found when I was DIYing our Rehearsal Dinner menu for about 40 people. Let bygones be bygones.
If you’re wondering if Food Network had a dedicated section to weddings as well, they don’t. But if you search “weddings”, they will have some wedding related recipes pop. FYI: It’s mostly cakes. To save you time, click here to go straight to that search result.
Enjoy! I hope you find it helpful!
